The Tralee Festival, which also includes the ROSE OF TRALEE Gala, is another of the Irish Racing Festivals that "take hold of the Country" for a whole week FROM THE 22ND TO THE 27TH August this year.

Located near Tralee town in County Kerry this is not only a great racemeeting to attend it is also one of Ireland's most visited parts of the Country. The scenery and tourist attractions which make up "the ring of Kerry" account for nearly 1/3 of all visitors to Ireland from overseas per year. Because the whole area is very busy YOU MUST BOOK EARLY to get accommodation and transport during festival week.

Both National Hunt and Flat takes place here and is great spectator sport. The course itself is fairly small and gets crowded easily, but somehow they seem to fit everyone in allright! 

The racing is a mixture of Jump and Flat and good prize money makes for good racing and betting opportunities. You are always close to the action at Tralee and will have the opportunity of seeing all that goes on at an Irish racemeeting.
