Downpatrick is the
second of our racecourses in Northern Ireland, the other being Down
Royal.
The racecourse itself is right handed oval and undulating
in the Jump racing course the final furlong is all up hill and is
very short. This makes for some great finishes to races.
I have
only visited the course once and found it to be friendly fun and
well worth a visit if you are in the area, especially for the summer
meeting in August. |
