There is perhaps, no
better country to play golf in, than Ireland. Our rich and diverse
landscape offers course designers endless possibilities and
consequently many new excellent courses have been built over
the last 10 years. These coupled with the older established
favourites have made Ireland a Golfing Mecca. Our Links courses
are a true test of golfing ability, the natural elements play
such an important part in your scoring abilities. All of our
coastal courses are a test for even the best golfers, while
our parkland courses also offer a great challenge. You may be
familiar with courses such as Druids Glen or The K Club from
extensive TV exposure, others which we have listed are well
worth playing, such as Rathsallagh or Adare Manor which are
as pleasurable to play as any in the World.

Almost every golf course in Ireland, including private clubs,
will allow anyone to play. While certain tee times may be reserved
for members (e.g. weekend mornings), simply call ahead and ask
what is available and you will receive a warm welcome at most
local clubs. However, some local clubs do NOT have golf carts
("buggys") or rental clubs available.
