Officially opened since 1995, Rathsallagh is a championship course measuring 6,916 yards, par 72, set in mature parkland surrounded by spectacular trees. The highly acclaimed large putting surfaces have set a new standard in turf grass management, which will test the Pros without intimidating the club golfer. - The course covers some 250 of this 522 acre estate and offers a fair but demanding test of golf. Water comes into play on several holes with 4 small, picturesque lakes and several small streams and ditches criss crossing the American style sculptured fairways.

Owned and managed by the O'Flynn family who have created one of Ireland's best inland courses Rathsallagh is both Long and far easier to play in the Summer Months. A round from the Back Tees (Blue) is very challenging and will bring a different dimension to playing this course. The signature hole here is the short par 4 8th. (Shown in the picture on the right above).  A great golf hole which reminds me of the 11th at the Belfry, Driveable for the longest of hitters but a very risky proposition for club golfers.
