BASIC FACTS:
All traffic in Ireland Drives on the LEFT hand side of the road.
We do have potholes in our rural roads.
We do have narrow laneways and roads in some areas.
We do not have many cycle paths.

That said, cycling around our roads is a great way to see rural Ireland but is not for the faint hearted. If you are not confident in riding on the Left on Roads take a few days to "acclimatise yourself" before venturing out on long journeys. There are also some excellent mountain biking opportunities.
