There is a superb fleet of Ferries in operation on the Irish
Sea, offering passengers excellent standards in comfort, service
and reliability. All vessels are of very high quality with
great restaurants and bars, entertainment for children and
a relaxed atmosphere.

The new Fast Ferries while slightly more
expensive, are an excellent way to reach Ireland if on a tight
schedule as the journey is only 99 minutes!
If you prefer a more relaxed crossing, take the normal
ferry which takes approximately
4 hours fom the UK to Ireland. You can avail of the excellent
on board shopping, dining, entertainment and stroll around
the decks at your leisure.
Occasional delays due to inclement weather
conditions are possible, so it is always wise to check with
your chosen Ferry company to confirm sailing times on the
day. That said I have travelled to and from Ireland on a number
of occasions by sea and have enjoyed each sailing. If you
are planning to take your car you may avail of some excellent
special offers during the year.
Here we recommend some of the best Ferry Companies
to use when travelling to Ireland.
