Opened since 1992, the Championship par 72 Golf Course has established itself as one of the finest parkland courses in Ireland. 1996 saw the Slieve Russell host its first major tournament, the Smurfit Irish PGA Championshp which was tremendously successful and further enhanced the reputation of this fine course. 1996 also saw imaginative modifacions to a number of holes and this together with the addition of a further twenty thousand trees, augers well for the future of the course.

The Clubhouse overlooking the course incorporates the Summit Bar and Restaurant, Golf Pro Shop, Club Storage area and comfortable locker rooms with shower areas. For beginners, our 9 hole par 3 course is available. Golf lessons can be arranged with our resident Golf professional. Opened since summer 1997 is a 5 bay floodlit driving range. Reduced green fees are available for hotel residents. Group rates available for both residents and non residents.
